There's a great story here. I went into CVS to get Listerine products that were advertised on sale for $3.99 each and earning $2.00 Extra Bucks , for a "like buying price of $1.99." There was a limit of 2. Of course I had coupons to sweeten the deal. But when I got to CVS, I entered deal karma!
The Cinnamint variety of tListerine was on clearance for $2.99 according to the shelf tag. However, upon price checking the item at the CVS scanner, it came up as $1.24. But wait it gets better, the Cinnamint variety was still part of the Listerine $2.00 Extra Bucks offer.
So, here's what happened:
2 Listerine Total Care 500ml Mouthwash - $1.24 each (Regular Price = $4.99)
2 $1.00 off manufacturer coupons
This made each bottle only .24 cents!
BUT, I also earned Extra Bucks ( a total of $4.00 since I bought 2)
1 Nivea Goodbye Cellulite Product - Clearance Priced at $10.99 (Regular Price = $ 21.99)
$2.00 manufacturer coupon
Used $4.50 in Extra Bucks
(It's like getting this for $4.49)
Total Spent = $5.78
Total SAVED = $27.00
Extra Bucks Earned = $4.00
